I’m selling my car tomorrow. It’s been fun and I miss it already.
I had to refit the original radio, which meant sucking it up and going into the false roof to retrieve it. Not fond of heights.
While I was up there I found the spare keyboard/mouse that I thought I’d lost. Didn’t fancy making multiple trips up and down to bring it all out. Looked out the hole, and saw the wash basket. That looks like a nice soft landing I thought. I bet I can throw this mouse and keyboard into there. Lob… mouse falls in. Quite pleased with myself at this little trick at this point. Keyboard next, lob… Miiissstaaaake. Missed. Crash, bang, wallop. All the way down the stairs.

Google have brought the themes from the .com site to .co.uk today. The seasonal scape theme for personalised homepage (now iGoogle?) Actually, just typing that link… that’s why it was always /ig I suppose. Well, the theme has been updated for summer (they missed spring) and it’s a kung-fu ladybird. What more do we need?

Well the same day I took it I also emailed it to the Daily Mail. They have a section called Peterborough where they publish pictures like that.
It’s taken me a while to get it scanned to put up here (it was in the paper Thursday, June 30th 2005…), but here is that very picture gracing the pages of the Daily Mail.
Went to Stoke today. 380 miles and achieved nothing.
I am thoroughly fed up.
